I am 52 and my sister is 54. We are only 18 months apart. And my sister for some reason is rude and mean to me. I cannot figure out why, she will not communicate with me at all. She doesn't return my calls, respond to my text messages, I have no idea what I did. 4 years ago her husband Billy passed away and prior to his passing he was very ill and on Hospice Care. For a year prior to his passing, I would drive up to her home,1.5 hour drive, on weekends and help her, I felt we bonded, after his passing I continued the drive on weekends after weekends for support and comfort to her during the grieving she and I were in separable. About a year ago she met someone I was extremely happy for her, she remarried I helped with the wedding and now she will not speak to me, when we are around each other at family events all she does is criticize me and make fun of my weight. I have asked her what is wrong she says nothing but yet her actions and refusal to communicate screams loudly there is. I don't want to be up her butt, I know she has a new husband, but a phone conversation every once in awhile, a little show of kindness. I just don't get it. I really am hurt and at a lost as to why this is happening and what changed. She is extremely mean to me.
